Many new gardeners wonder on the best methods to kill herbs in their gardens. The weeds should never be bothering because there is plenty of what to use to kill weeds that attacks the gardens.

One of the safest and cheap way that do not require training is by pulling the herbs off on farm. When the farmland is large it will be very time-consuming especially when you are alone, but there are no chemicals that can affect humans in the long run. If you remove them with the roots there is no chance for them to sprout again. It is a convenient method because you can do the weeding at any stage of development.

It will be very effective if you remove the unwanted herbs from a small garden. But you can consider employing individuals that would help in the farm on the weeding day. For those who insist on using organic farming techniques. Another method would be pouring hot water over the herbs. Hot water kills both the matured herbs and their seeds.

One disadvantage is that you must be extra vigilant so as not to burn both your crops and unwanted plants because they would all die. Soapy water is also a good plant killer, it is effective during hot and dry seasons and always use spray bottles when spraying. Another exquisite method is by the spraying alcohol and concentrated vinegar to the herbs. As earlier stated, always do it carefully not to kill the other crops.

The cornmeal gluten is an herbicide that kills unwanted plants before they sprout out of the soil. It can fix Nitrogen to the farmland and works efficiently. It also does not destroy the grass. It is one of the effective ways that people who do not worry about chemical means of killing weeds. Others include Ortho Weed-B-Gon and Roundup herbicides. They work well in killing both mature herbs and those sprouting, and it takes a long time before they reappear again.

It is however important to note that killing these unwanted plants in the yard is very fine. But always ensure that the specific directions are followed. Always keep these herbicides away from the reach of pets and children.

There are other ways of killing these stubborn plants such as mulching. The whole essence is to prevent sunlight from reaching them, and therefore they die a natural death. You can always use home available tools such as grass, old newspapers, old curtains, and carpets for mulching. Ensure you spread them well on the footpaths of the farm, and you will be set to go. It is one of the most effective ways of keeping these plants away from the gardens without spending so much.

Lastly, every time, you resort to a given method of destroying, killing and controlling weeds on the farm, know there are many factors that would affect your best option. Such factors include the size of the garden and the particular type of plants on the farm.
